Ellana Wool Thread is made by the Wonderfil Specialty Thread Company and comes in 60 gorgeous colors. It is made with a combination of a 50/50 merino wool and acrylic blend – which gives it incredible strength. Each spool contains 70 yards. It can be used for hand applique, machine applique and machine quilting. For hand applique on wool, I recommend a Chenille #24 or 22 needle.
